We are currently seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to provide leadership and oversight for three assisted living communities in the Waupaca/Appleton area (CBRF and RCAC). If you are passionate about clinical excellence, supporting community healthcare teams, and ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview:
As the Regional Director of Nursing, you will be the go-to clinical leader for three communities, overseeing all healthcare operations and serving as the primary resource for healthcare-related questions and emergencies. You will support on-site healthcare teams, ensure compliance with state regulations, and maintain high standards of care. This is not a scheduling role—you will focus on clinical oversight of residents, assessments and quality outcomes. The position requires being on call for healthcare related matters only.

- Lead with Clinical Excellence: Provide oversight and guidance to community healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
- Mentor and Support: Coach and train on-site healthcare leaders, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Monitor resident health status, review incident reports, and implement care plans to address needs and concerns.
- Be the Resource: Serve as the regional point of contact for healthcare-related emergencies and questions, providing on-call support as needed.
- Collaborate for Success: Partner with Executive Directors, community leaders, and corporate teams to ensure alignment of care standards and goals.
- Maintain Compliance: Oversee adherence to DHS 83 and DHS 89 regulations, the Nurse Practice Act, and company policies.
- Promote Team Development: Provide ongoing education and in-services to ensure staff competency in resident care, safety, and infection control.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Resident-Centered Leader: A compassionate advocate for seniors who inspires confidence and trust.
- Skilled Clinician: Current Wisconsin RN or LPN license with strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and nursing best practices.
- Experienced Manager: Proven healthcare management experience, ideally in senior living or a related setting.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solver: Able to assess situations quickly and make sound clinical decisions.
- Collaborator: A team player who works effectively with leadership, staff, residents, and families.
What You Can Expect from Us:
- Supportive Work Environment: A collaborative culture that values your expertise and contributions.
- Professional Growth: Opportunities for continuing education and leadership development.
- Competitive Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off, and more.
- Work-Life Balance: Flexibility while meeting the needs of our communities.
- Impact: A role where your clinical leadership directly enhances the lives of residents and strengthens community care teams.
Additional Details:
- Travel Requirements: Regular travel to assigned communities. Valid driver’s license and car insurance required.
- Physical Demands: May involve standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- On-Call: This position requires participation in a clinical on-call rotation for nursing-related issues.
