MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / TRANSPORTATION DRIVER BASE WAGE:

• $17.00 - $19.50 per hour

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES

• Maintenance Technician will ensure all vacant units are rent ready and prepped for scheduled admissions

• Assist with maintenance repairs, painting, carpet cleaning, and preventative maintenance throughout the property as assigned by Maintenance 
• Maintain all areas of the building including the grounds
• Complete daily walk through of property to ensure safe and homelike environment
• Maintenance Technician will manage and check work order system, complete all work orders in a timely manner, document completion or further action as necessary
• Complete and document scheduled preventative maintenance as assigned by Maintenance Director
• Maintenance Technician will assist in completion/scheduling of building inspections (elevator, sprinkler, fire, life safety) per regulations and under the Maintenance Director
• Complete garbage and recycling control and maintain trash rooms to prevent odors
• Assist with life safety system (emergency alarm, nurse call) issues and support – outsource as necessary

TRANSPORTATION DRIVER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Safely transport residents for scheduled appointments
• Driver will maintain the transportation calendar with assistance from Receptionist/Admin. Dept.
• Be aware of where residents are outside of the Community and arrange schedule to be timely in pick up and drop offs; ensure all residents are safely back at the Community at the end of the day
• Driver will complete daily bus checklist (before and after) and report any issues immediately to Maintenance Director
• Follow all driving and rules of the road at all times
• Frequently check with Director team and front desk throughout the day for any additional tasks or pick-ups
• Be familiar with the Maintenance Technician and Transportation Driver Job Description / tasks and fill in as requested
