We are currently seeking a bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to start part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time position as responsibilities expand.

Position Overview
As a bookkeeper, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our senior living communities. You will assist with daily accounting functions, maintain accurate records, and work closely with leadership to ensure financial processes run smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, collaborative environments, and opportunities for professional growth.
What You’ll Get to Do
Maintain Financial Records• Record daily financial transactions and maintain organized accounting records.
Support Accounts Payable & Receivable• Process invoices, assist with payments, and maintain accurate vendor and resident accounts.
Assist with Financial Reporting• Prepare reports and assist leadership with tracking budgets and financial performance.
Help Maintain Accurate Systems• Work within accounting software and property management systems to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Collaborate Across Communities• Work with leadership and community teams to ensure financial processes remain organized and efficient.
Who We’re Looking For
Accounting Knowledge• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred (Bachelor’s degree welcomed).
General Accounting Experience• Familiarity with bookkeeping practices including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting schedules to identify discrepancies.
Technology Skills• Experience with accounting or property management systems preferred.
• Experience in excel • AppFolio experience is a strong plus.
Detail-Oriented Professional• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Collaborative Team Member• Someone who enjoys working with teams and supporting multiple communities.
